The Objectives of IFB are:

• To grow and nurture the Information Technology and Communications (InfoCom) Industry in Negara Brunei Darussalam.
• To support the collaboration between InfoCom companies and the Government of Brunei Darussalam.
• To be a forum for InfoCom companies in Brunei Darussalam.
• To be a representative voice of the Brunei Infocom Industry.
• To liase with various local and international organisations or other interested societies and organisations to assist in achieving these objectives.
• To conduct, with the approval of the authorities, fundraising from other organisations (corporate, non-governmental or governmental) and members of the public in order to achieve these objectives.
