Local companies and organisations incorporated and/or registered in Brunei that have at least two years of operations in Brunei whose core business is in the Infocom industry. Complying with the above criteria, and with a proven record, are eligible to apply for Ordinary membership. Ordinary member will be titled to voting rights in the federation.
Multi national corporations with a Brunei branch or having a representative office in Brunei, that have at least two years of operations in Brunei whose core business is in the Infocom industry, complying with the above criteria, and with a proven track record, are eligible to apply for corporate membership. Corporate member will be entitled to voting rights in the Federation. For the avoidance of doubt, a local company whose core business is in the Infocom Industry, with a majority of foreign ownership shall be considered under Corporate member.
Companies, organisation and institutions incoporared and/or registered in Brunei with less than two years of operations, or companies, organisations and institutions incorporated and/or registered in Brunei whose core business is not in the Infocom Industry, but have an interest in or dependence on Infocom, may at the discretion of the Executive Council be admitted as Associate member of the Federation on payment of the prescribed Fees. Associate members shall have no voting rights in the Federation. Any Associate member may apply to be Ordinary member upon reaching two years of operations provided that such Associate members core business by then is in the Infocom Industry.
Any distinguished individuals, in the opinion of the Federation, who has either directly or indirectly contributed to the above-mentioned objectives, may be be elected as an Honorary member subject to the approval of the Executive Council. The Honorary Member shall have no voting rights in the Federation.
In the ICT line of business / ICT is a major enabler in the organization.
Incorporated and/or registered in Brunei.
Track record in delivering ICT projects.
Strong financial standing.
Significant local value-added component in the products/services offered.
Willing to comply with the code of practice.
Membership fee applicable.
